2019 saw some of the worst Ransomware attacks, (they doubled from 2018!), and it got me thinking – how protected were these businesses that were compromised? In my admittedly informal survey, I spoke to over 50 Vermont Businesses who were hacked or compromised last year, and almost all of them told me they thought their IT guy “had things covered.” This was shocking to hear.
